    Robert is a Principal at Berkeley Capital, as well as adviser to the Company’s management and a member of the Credit Committee.

     

    Robert is a French national residing in the UK and has 40 years of experience in investment banking and global financial services around the world.

     

    In 2007, Robert founded Cohen Brothers, an international fund placement agent, raising capital across all main private asset fund strategies for fund manager clients across the US, Europe, and Asia.

     

    Before that, Robert held chief executive positions at Deutsche Bank and Schroder investment management businesses in France. He has also been a director and executive board member of investment bank J. Henry Schroder & Co. in London and Paris in structured investments.

     

    He has also served as vice president at Natixis in Equity Capital Markets, a deputy chief financial officer at the specialized credit division of Barclays Bank France, and a senior auditor at Ernst & Young Paris, where he started his career.

     

    He holds the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales diploma (MBA), Jouy en Josas, France. He was a board member of AFG, the French fund management professional association from 2003 to 2006 and a board member of Galileo I, a SPAC listed on the NYSE between 2019 and 2021.

     

    For his activities at Cohen Brothers, Robert is authorized in France by ANACOFI-CIF under the supervision of Autorité des Marches Financiers, he is approved in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority and heads an exempt international broker dealer on the US market, under the supervision of Crito Capital LLC, a broker dealer registered with the SEC and member of FINRA, SIPC, MSRB.

     

    Robert has a passion for salmon fly-fishing and golfing, which he shares with his family and friends.
